Established in 1933 and nestled on the western base of Red Hill, Canberra's Federal Golf Club is recognised as one of Australia's premier inland courses. The 18 hole championship course is complemented by a clubhouse that offers a comprehensive range of hospitality services, catering for weddings, corporate golf, private functions and business seminars.

Included in the club's portfolio of corporate clients are:

PGA Holden Scramble Regional Finals
The club has been hosting this event for several years now at the request of the Professional Golfers Association. The event is run over two days and includes a sit down lunch. Approximate number of golfers is 300.

Australian Defence Force Golfers Association National Championships
This event is held over 5 days and includes lunch every day and a closing dinner at the end of the week. The club has secured this event until 2015. Approximate number of golfers including sponsors and guests over the 5 days is 750.

ACT Cancer Society / Canberra Raiders Golf Day
This event is held over one day and raises in excess of $15,000 for ACT Eden Monaro Cancer Support.

Canteen Cancer Society
This event is run by Ricky Stuart and raises in excess of $15,000 for the Canteen Cancer Society.

Australian Federal Police Charity Day
This event raises in excess of $15,000 for the AFP's nominated charities.

NOMINATED PERSONNEL

Paul Davidson - Operations Manager
Paul has over 9 years experience in the hospitality having previously worked as the  Assistant Food and Beverage Manager at Canberra Casino.
Paul has a Diploma in International Business. Paul will be the first point of contact.

 

Scott Elias - General Manager
Scott has an Advanced Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality from the Canberra Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Business Management in Tourism and Hospitality from University of South Australia. Scott has over 10 years experience in the golf club hospitality field. Scott will be the second point of contact.
