Practice Facilities
Published in Club NewsThe Practice facilities as most would know is not a full length driving range – golf balls from the practice range do end up lost in the dam, enter the course or maintenance facility which is a safety issue. To reduce these risks, markers at 180m have been placed as an indicator of the maximum distance on the undercover practice facility. Players may use a driver or other irons provided they do no exceed 180m.
The Club will be purchasing 80% balls – this will increase the playability to feel like 215m – which we will get as soon as possible. If you need to practice your driver or other irons that you know will be over 180m, please use the practice nets.
Later this month there will be hitting bay dividers and new matts added to the undercover practice facility.
