General Meeting – Voting Results from 1/5/24

On Wednesday 1 May, the General Meeting was held to vote on the ordinary resolution as per below.

The Members of the Federal Golf Club approve the unanimous recommendation of the Board to sign the 2024 Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and associated Development Agreement, Retirement Village Sublease and Facilities Licence between the Federal Golf Club and Mbark that will replace the legally binding 2020 MoU for the Over 55’s Retirement Village Development.

Seconded by: Regina Neary Vice President & PCG Chair

The voting was conducted by Vero Voting, using a hybrid model with members in person or virtually.

In total 131 members attended the meeting in person to meet the quorum 40.  A further 89 attended virtually. A number of members had given a proxy but still attended either in person or virtually. 

301 proxy were received, with 6 invalid proxies due to their membership category not having voting rights.

The results above were announce in favor of the resolution.
